Noisy neighbors can make many people’s homes feel uninhabitable. This application can help you drown out these noises and maintain focus on your studies, work, or enjoy better sleep.

IMPORTANT: Use headphones or external speakers to produce low-frequency noise.

With this app, you can easily generate four types of noises:

• White Noise - 20Hz to 20,000Hz - All frequencies at the same level;
• Pink Noise - 20Hz to 20,000Hz (More bass sound than white noise, formed by an algorithm with a decrease in volume level as frequency increases);
• Red Noise - 250Hz – 500Hz. Sounds like an airplane cabin, train, or car interior;
• Brown Noise - 50Hz – 250Hz. Sounds like thunder, a distant plane, or rocket;

The sounds are produced in real-time rather than being pre-recorded. This allows for uninterrupted playback without loops.

The objective is to create a wall of sound that masks other distracting noises, facilitating study, sleep, or relaxation without being disturbed by external sounds. These continuous sounds also aid in calming fussy babies or crying.

The sounds were synthetized with the libpd library (Pure Data for Android).

Note: Some Android manufacturers have custom audio settings that may affect sound output (e.g., Samsung SAPA). Additionally, certain users and operating systems have enabled battery-saving options that may interfere with the background service required to keep the app's sound functioning even when the screen is off.
